European Loop
- Fold a long, rectangular scarf like an accordion, or fold it in half lengthwise several times until it is the desired width.
- Fold your rectangle in half, ends to ends, creating a loop.
- Place this folded rectangle behind your neck and bring the looped end and the loose ends to the front.
- Take the two loose ends and pull them through the loop.
- Pull the ends until the scarf fits snugly around your neck.

Brooch Knot
- Fold a long scarf like an accordion. If it’s very long, fold it in half to shorten it first.
- Wrap it around your neck and secure it on one side with a brooch or pin.
- Fan out the accordion folds.
This works well with a small square scarf as well.
